WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
Join us in “A Conversation with Krashen” - the guru behind language acquisition fundamentals. Krashen will share his original theories and remind us that we “acquire” (not “learn”) language when we understand what we hear and what we read, when we receive “comprehensible input.” We do not acquire language when we speak, write or study it. He will also share effective methods that supply interesting and comprehensible input, often in the form of stories (otherwise known as “literature” and “fiction”). He will then open the floor for comments and questions for what is sure to be an engaging and enlightening time together!
