Leadership Initiative for Language Learning (LILL) - Emerging Leader

GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR OUR AZLA MEMBERS!

Every 2-3 years, AZLA will select one emerging language learning leader from Arizona who demonstrates energy, positivity and growth mindset when approaching projects and tasks related to language learning. The nominee should be a confident self starter and self motivator who shows grit and perseverance when confronted with obstacles, problems or issues. The nominee should also demonstrate a strong commitment to his/her/their state organization (AZLA) prior to and after attendance at the institute.

LILL is an ACTFL sponsored institute that serves to support future world language leaders and the profession. It serves to build capacity for leading change and implementing new initiatives at the local and national level. A new cohort of emerging leaders is selected every three years.
