AZLA needs YOU! There are many ways to get involved and help carry out our events, such as the yearly Fall Conference and Spring Workshop. Join us at an upcoming Planning Meeting! You may also be interested in becoming a regional representative or our next President Elect.

Responsibilities include:

Assume responsibility immediately following appointment;

Attend all Board and Planning meetings, well as Spring and Fall Events;

Solicit items of interest to AZLA, and previously AFLA, from past years (such as newsletters, photos, programs, achievements, honors, awards, scholarships, and Executive Boards);

Continue an on-going collection of items;
-
Produce and maintain a history of the organization which can be displayed at meetings and events and/or on the website;
-
Publish the memorabilia when appropriate with the help of the Communication and Social Media Coordinator;

Work with and pass the collection on to the next Historian
-
Be a voting member of the Board;
-
Participate as a voting member of the student scholarship and teacher awards/fellowship process.
